Lugar Brae Uniting Church pays our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present, and extend that acknowledgment to all First Nations people for their ongoing connection to Country and culture. We honour the Stolen Generations and their families, those who were separated and never found their way home, those who are still healing and those who continue to endure the intergenerational impact. The 2024 theme celebrates not only the survival but also the relentless spirit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
